Remote Tuning
Remote tuning
A custom calibration developed from your datalogs and revised until the car drives the way it should — anywhere in the world, without you driving to Simi Valley.
Remote tuning works well for street-driven vehicles with a known combination of parts. You send us your vehicle details and a datalog, we build a calibration, you load it and drive it, and you send back a new log. We revise from there until the drivability, fueling and shift behavior are where they should be.
It is a genuinely good option for customers outside our drive radius, for people who have already had a baseline session with us and changed one thing, and for anyone who does not need a certified power figure. What it cannot do is replace measured load. For a fresh engine build, a new forced-induction setup or a chase after peak power, we will tell you plainly that the vehicle belongs on the rollers.

Questions
Remote Tuning FAQs
Is a remote tune as good as a dyno tune?
For a straightforward bolt-on street vehicle, a well-executed remote tune gets you most of the way there. For anything where the safe limit needs to be found precisely — forced induction, aggressive cams, race fuel — a dyno tune is meaningfully better, because we can hold load and see the edge before you find it.
What information do you need from me?
Year, make, model, engine, transmission, every modification on the vehicle, the fuel you run, your tire and gear ratio if changed, and what you actually want from the car. Then a datalog. Vague part lists produce cautious tunes.
How many revisions do I get?
As many as the combination needs. We would rather do three rounds and have the vehicle right than call it finished early. What we ask in return is a clean, complete datalog each time.
Can you tune a vehicle you have never seen?
Yes, within reason. The limit is honesty about the build. If a part was left off the list or something is mechanically wrong, the calibration is built on bad information — and a remote tune has no way to catch that the way a dyno session does.
