Tune Guru is a calibration shop in Simi Valley, California. The whole business is built on one idea: measure it, prove it, then hand you the data.
What we are
A Dynojet chassis dyno and a person who knows how to use it. Calibration is the entire business — not a service tacked onto the end of a build. For most shops the money is in parts and labor hours and the tune is an afterthought; here it is the only thing on the schedule, which is why it gets the hours it actually needs.
Most of our work is on modified vehicles — engine swaps, forced induction, cam packages, big tires and re-gearing. Those are the vehicles that need real calibration, because the factory tune was written for something that no longer exists under the hood. Every one of them gets a tune written from scratch rather than a file copied off a similar car.
What we are not
We do not sell numbers, and we do not make you buy our parts to get tuned. If your combination will not make what you were told it would, you will hear that from us before we take a deposit. And if a vehicle needs mechanical repair before it needs a tune, we say so — tuning around a fault is how expensive parts break.

Maximum power, but engine health decides where we stop. A calibration you can drive all summer beats a screenshot.
Plain explanations
You get the graph and a walk-through of what changed, in language that is actually useful.
No forced parts
We tune whatever combination is on the vehicle. If a part is a waste of money for your goals, we say so before you buy it.

We are minutes from the 118 and the 23, which puts most of Ventura County and the west San Fernando Valley inside a half-hour drive. Appointments are the norm — dyno time is scheduled, not walk-in.
